The next big wave of wildly creative filmmakers, media artists and brilliant visionaries is crashing on our shores, challenging and changing the way we view our world. They are coming from everywhere; Seattle, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, San Antonio, Orlando, Des Moines, Anchorage, Boston and Kalamazoo, Michigan. All geographical limitations have vanished. Two Islands Wave is on a quest to discover the best new emerging talent in cinema and media art.

Gabriel started making video movies at age six. Subsequently, his work has been shown at the San Francisco Film Festival, Northwest Film Festival, the San Francisco Exploratorium, the Rainy States Film Festival, Rochester's SmartFest Film Festival, the ArtsEdge Festival, Olympia Film Festival and on Nickelodeon Network and MTV. His films have won three awards at the American Film Institute's Visions of U.S. competition, including a first place in the fiction category. Recently, he was honored with a retrospective of his work in Seattle, Washington. In 1997, he was nominated for a Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship. He now attends Sarah Lawrence.
