TWO ISLANDS Entertainment was established by filmmakers David O'Malley and Michael Spence to create a consistent output of high-quality independent motion pictures for the 21st Century. As the unique systems for producing motion picture entertainment rapidly and radically transform themselves in the new millennium, exploring new filmmaking technologies and innovations is one of our highest priorities. Two Islands DigiPix will develop and produce feature films and shorts utilizing the latest high-definition digital video technology, cameras and editing systems. Short digital films will be premiered on the Internet. Digital features will be transferred to 35mm for release to theaters, cable networks, pay per view and VOD (video on demand) portals. New facets of both traditional motion picture production and digital video technologies will be explored by Two Islands DocuPix as the boundaries of documentary and cinema verite filmmaking are taken to new heights of creative innovation.
